HELP / VERSION 0.1.0
Prepare a set without losing its source pages.
The public pilot is free. No purchase is currently available. Use the built-in four-sheet example before trying an authorised drawing set.
- Choose a PDF and preview a page with a normal title block.
- If the sheet is sideways, rotate the reading view. This changes reading coordinates, not the exported PDF orientation.
- Draw tightly around the sheet number itself. Pick a consecutive range with the same title-block layout. The pilot reads up to five selected pages per run.
- Read the pages. For a scan, the English OCR engine runs in your browser. It may be slow or wrong.
- Use View on each result, correct any wrong read, exclude non-drawing pages, and check the review confirmation.
- Download the ZIP. It contains one PDF per included page, register.csv and processing notes. Keep the original combined document.
What the names mean
0047_A-101.pdf came from source page 47. The original-page prefix prevents duplicate drawing numbers from overwriting each other. Duplicate IDs, missing names, unexpectedly broad text and low OCR scores are flagged. An OCR score is not an accuracy guarantee.
If a read is wrong
Move the region away from borders and neighbouring text. Check rotation. Try Selectable text only for a digital PDF, or Always OCR for a bad text layer. Split mixed title-block layouts into separate runs. You can edit a name manually; the tool does not infer revisions or decide which drawing is current.
Limits
Up to 150 MB and 1,000 source pages. One repeated layout per run; English OCR. Encrypted PDFs, interactive forms and signed documents are refused. Output is individual original pages, not a relabelled combined PDF. Document-level bookmarks, signatures, metadata and links to excluded pages are not preserved. Complex and very large pages can exceed browser memory; use a smaller set.
Browser and network
Use a current desktop browser. Development checks used Chrome; other browsers are not yet independently qualified. Opening this hosted tool and downloading its OCR assets requires internet. File contents stay in tab memory. The test edition verifies a receipt license with Lemon Squeezy; it sends the key only, not drawings. It does not store your key.
Support
Email jejuku@gmail.com with your browser, OS, source page count and error text. Send a synthetic example first. Do not send confidential drawings, passwords, merchant API keys or license keys. There is no live support SLA or document-processing service.
